Our restaurant and bar are located right on the beach, under a large circular palm leaves’ roof, traditionnally called rancho in Costa Rica.
It is open non-stop for meals from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm., and the bar stays open later at night.
We serve a large variety of food, including Costa Rician traditional dishes such as “gallo pinto”, many different salads, tropical fruit platters, fresh fish, lobster and other seafood, first choice “lomito” (tenderloin steaks), as well as hamburgers, sandwiches and pasta.
Our fresh fruit smoothies are famous, and so are the favorite cocktails, margaritas, daiquiries and piña coladas.
To be able to offer fresh quality products to its clients, Hotel Playa Negra has its own organic vegetable farm located in a nearby "finca".
